I really liked the first novel "Ladd Springs", this second book I also enjoyed, it brings the reality of small tow living where everybody knows everyone and their businesses. It shows the possibilities of adults romances when we are used to seeing many books for young adults and teenagers romance. Loved a different age generation. Liked that new relationships arise to give hope that no matter what happens if you act with the good of the heart great things happen. The author gave lots of life to secondary characters, so that we enjoy the community of Ladd Springs. I which the next books bring closure to all those hurting in the book. Read this didn't know it was a series until finished but enjoyed it and read all 6 books in as many days very intriguing and enjoyed them all very much!
I liked the first book in the series well enough to buy the others. They are well written, have a lively storyline and in my opinion give an accurate view of East Tennessee culture.
Another great book. I gave it only 4 stars because after chapter 16, you are reading the book in typing format.It didn't bother me because I"m hooked on these books.Just want other readers know.Now got to go find book 3.
Book #2 continued with the same flow. Dianne Venetta characters were entertainingly. There was adventure mixed with family members and secrets. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.
I loved the first book in this series and was not disappointed in this sequel. I loved picking back up with the characters and the drama in their lives. It is a wonderful mix of romance and mystery. This was another great read and I look forward to reading the third book in the series.
Good story line and one of the best I have read . I did not stop reading the first book until I had finished it and bought the next two will buy the rest of the series real soon. This is a series everyone needs to read. A lot of life lessons can be learned and I'm sure you will know someone to relate to the characters
I read the 1st book in the series and promptly downloaded the rest of the series. Each subsequent book starts where the last one left off. I suppose you could read them as stand alone, but you would have a harder time understanding the relationships of the characters. I have enjoyed each book and am 40% into the last book. There are a few typos/grammar problems in each book but not enough to interfere with reading. I would recommend this series highly - it is worth the low price. I only gave this book/series 4 stars because it is not really a stand alone book.
